Unveiling The Hidden Beauty Of Your Heart

My Workshop Review! God is Good

I held my second workshop on 3rd November 2019. For me, it was an absolute miracle because I sometimes see myself as that shy, introverted little girl who stuttered. How can I lead a group of women through a workshop and get them to understand that there is more to them than they could ever realise.

I did what I could do and allowed God to do the rest. Trust me, I prayed and prayed that each woman would receive something that would challenge them to dust of their complacency and procrastination so they could move forward and be the best that they could be.

God has given all of us something to do. Our gift is never for us but always for someone else. It takes courage to use it for the benefit of humanity because we are always looking at our human limitations and negative experiences. We have to feel the fear and do it anyway. Take that step and believe that we can do what we came here to do and be the blessing to others that God called us to be.

I want to challenge you to take that step because someone is waiting on your gift. Someone needs your bravery and courage. Someone needs to hear your testimony, and someone needs to hear that you overcame and won. Humanity needs your strength and courage to keep going for themselves.

How long will you sit on what God gave you? How long will you allow your self-esteem issues to block you from becoming whom God created you to be? It’s time for a change, its time for you to get started and realise that YES you can do it. Your challenges in life have prepared you for this very moment.

So plan, set your goals, take that step and watch your rewards manifest.

Are Your Negative Habits Holding You Back?

We all are guilty of having some bad habits and how many times have you promised yourself that you were going to do something about them. I have personally come to realize that bad habits can hinder someone from making the progress they desire in life.

Bad habits are like the handbrake of a car, you are ready to go, but you can’t drive off because you have not released the handbrake (habit) that can provide an invisible block to receiving the best in life.

Pause for a moment and think of someone whose bad habits irritate you…….. Have you thought of someone? 🙂 Well think about it, you can see someone else’s pattern and how it affects them now think about how your harmful habits are affecting you and the perception other people may have of you. Please take time to think about this and how you intend to move forward and change or replace them.

Consider these 3 tips:-

1. Join forces with someone so they can support you in your journey. See them as an accountability partner.
2. Consider surrounding yourself with people who live the way you desire to live.
3. Cut out as many triggers as possible.

Changing habits does not occur over night it starts one step and one day at a time. Take action and start adjusting from today.

Taking Back Who You Are!

During periods of life you can give ourself away in the belief that the person you give yourself to will not take you for granted. When you give the best of yourself to someone and you have not taken the time to qualify the relationship, hurt and pain is inevitable.

I want to share with you three things that you may need to consider so you can take back who you are and start living the life that you were born to live. These three things are just to give you the push you may need to start this important process.

1. Learn to say no without feeling guilty.

2. Start investing in YOU ( take a course, start reading books that will empower you to make a change).

3. Use your failures and past mistakes to propel you forward.

Each of these points can take a life time to work out but the most important thing is for you to start working on yourself and for you to become the best person that you can be.

The Principles of Goal Setting!

“If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy and inspires your hopes.” —Andrew Carnegie

“Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success.” —Pablo Picasso

“You have to set goals that are almost out of reach. If you set a goal that is attainable without much work or thought, you are stuck with something below your true talent and potential.” —Steve Garvey

I am already thinking about what I want to do and where I want to be in 2018. Setting goals is important for giving your life and future, direction. Your goals are a road map to success and give life to your dreams and vision.

As a life coach I have shared goal setting principles in varing degrees with my clients and I am excited to share the basics of these principles with you, so before you write your goals consider the following:

  1. Clarity – A clear, measurable goal is more achievable than one that is poorly defined. Be Specific!
  2. Challenge. The goal should have a level of difficulty in order to motivate you toward the goal.
  3. Commitment. You will need to put effort and commitment into meeting your goal. Increasing accountability by sharing your goal with someone you trust.
  4. Feedback. Set up a method to receive information on your progress toward a goal. For example If you desire to lose  40 pounds in six months and it is proving challenging to achieve then it is better to adjust the difficulty of your goal mid-way through the timeline than to give up on the goal.
  5.  Task complexity. If a goal is especially complex,   make sure you give yourself enough time and steps to give you the best chance at completing it.

Why I Love to Inspire People

Inspiring a person is one of my favourite things to do. There is no other feeling than paying someone a sincere, heartfelt compliment and see the change it brings to their body posture and the frown lines on their face change into a smile.

For a many years I had been on the receiving end of other people’s disapproval and knew first hand the hurt and pain it caused. After receiving healing in those areas, I decided to consciously become someone who would inspire and encourage people to become the best that they could be.  This is one of the reasons  I decided to start blogging.

When you encourage or inspire someone they feel bold enough to take a step toward fulfilling their dreams and they begin to change the way they see themselves. You actually create beautiful ripples in this persons world as  a compliment can make a life time impact and alter the course of their life.

This is why I took the decision to become and train as a life coach as my passion is the raise the self-esteem and confidence of people.

With you in mine I wrote a foundational course about building personal self-esteem and confidence.   It will give you a great start to seeing your self-worth and move you from the cocoon of  your life into an amazing butterfly. Why I was Afraid To Change

Change, who likes change?  The thought of changing can cause some people to become paralysed and desire to stay wrapped up in the blanket called a comfort zone. Comfort zones are warm, cosy and inviting but it will never bring about the much needed change you need in life.

I have gone through several periods of change in my  life because I saw first hand what staying in a comfort zone does to someone. It was so painful to watch. This gifted individual began to give up on life, they found the blanket of their comfort zone too cosy and warm to leave,  which resulted in their God given gift becoming dormant and buried. They were afraid to change because change would challenge them to do something with their life and take responsibility for their current situation.

A comfort zone can actually assasinate your potential, so I urge you to put the gun down and unwrap yourself from that blanket.

Let me give you 3 things to consider to move from the fear of change to embracing change.

  1. Its important to understand that change is a risk you have to take in order to better yourself.
  2. Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real with the key word  being False.
  3. Conquering your fears positions you to enter your destiny.

I lived in so much fear when I was younger about a range of things, but I came to a point where I became tired of living that kind of life and my desperation pushed me to taking the steps to change. I also realised that my fear of change was linked to my low self esteem.

So let me ask you this, are you desperate for change in your life? If you are ready then sign up to my self esteem course by clicking the link below.
